The Jambo House rooms have a distinct character that stay true to theme without going over the top into garishness. They could be described as drab as the color palette isn’t exactly light and inviting, but I love the look. I think it works perfectly for the resort, and not every hotel needs to have an “uplifting” visual motif.

We can’t recommend a special trip to Animal Kingdom Lodge just to visit Victoria Falls, but a stop here is well worth it if you find yourself nearby. For your DVC room request at Animal Kingdom Jambo House, ask for a room close to the lobby. If you end up on the ends of the resort’s horseshoe shape, it can be a long walk back to your DVC room after a day of park hopping.
